Minnesota became the 32nd state on May 11, 1858. Prophetically, the number 32 connects to the Hebrew word for heart, “lev.” This fast is a call for Minnesota to return to the heart of God.
The Mississippi watershed reaches across 31 states, making Minnesota’s headwaters more than a geographic beginning. They are a prophetic picture of source, flow, and influence.
The Lord is calling His people to deal with the hidden dams of the heart: unforgiveness, bitterness, offense, division, pride, and prayerlessness. The river cannot carry life if the source is blocked.
